REGISTRATION PROCEDURES:
In addition to the “paper registration”
that we have used the past few years, we will also be utilizing our
on-line registration process this year.
The on-line process will be the
quickest and most secure way to register.
It will also give us a very accurate “time stamp” as each registration is received.
On-line registrations will require in-full
credit card payments at the time of registration. The on-line
registration process will also make it easier for us to provide coaches
with an emailed receipt of their payment that they can then submitted to
their team or organization for reimbursement.
Those coaches that can not provide in-full credit card payment at the
time of registration will need to use the “paper registration” form. We
strongly suggest that paper registrations be
faxed to us ASAP. If you mail the registration form, you
may find that the particular age group is filled before we received your
mailed registration.
If a coach provides us with accurate credit card information on their
“paper registration” and asks us in writing on the registration form
to hold their credit card info while they get us a team/organization
payment, we will gladly hold them in their spot for a maximum of seven
(7) days. If we do not receive payment in-full by the end of the seven
(7) days, we will open that spot for the next available team.
IMPORTANT:
If the tournament you are registering for has
reached it's enrollment limit and you received a "closed" notification, please
fax or mail a
paper copy of your registration (with payment) so that we can
place you on the waiting list. Your credit card will not be processed or
check cashed unless an opening becomes available in the tournament.

Also returning for 2010-11:- For the 2010-11 Winter Indoor Tournaments, during the
first seven (7) days following the July 23rd announcement and posting of
the tournament schedule, we will only accept one (1) team per
organization per tournament. Starting Friday, July 30th, organizations
are welcome to enter additional teams in any remaining openings.
Tournament Cancellation Policy:
Although we try to work with all teams that enter our
events, it is important to understand the problems that are created when a team
registers for an event and then does not follow through with their commitment to
participate. When you enter a tournament, we make a commitment to you - we
expect the same type of commitment in return. These instances not only effect
our organization, but every other organization that has made a commitment to
play. Therefore, the following cancellation policy is in effect:
- All cancellations must be received in writing via
email, fax or regular mail. Verbal cancellations will not be
accepted.
Teams that cancel out of an event more than 30 days prior to the start of
the event
that is not closed
will be issued either a refund check for the full amount of the entry fee
minus $50 administrative fee, or a credit of the full amount that can be
used for a tournament within 12 months of issue.
Inside 30 days, any refund or credit will be at the
sole discretion of the tournament director.
Once
a tournament is full and "closed," or
a game schedule has been distributed, absolutely no refunds will be given.
A credit that can be used for another ADKSC tournament during the current year may be offered,
if the other tournament is not full and a schedule is not yet been
distributed.

2010 ADKSC COLLEGE SHOWCASE:

16&U and 18&U ADKSC College Showcase
December 11-12, 2010
8:30 AM until approximately 12 Noon
The 2010 ADKSC College Showcase will feature Individual
Player Skills Sessions on Saturday morning, followed by Pool Play the rest of
Saturday (and possibly Sunday morning), with Single Elimination Brackets on
Sunday.
Players participating in the Skills Session(s) will need a separate registration
(see below). The Skills Session will allow softball athletes who are either in the
beginning or the middle of their recruiting process an opportunity to display
their individual talents for various college coaches from around the Northeast region.
The Skills Sessions will be held for Infielders, Outfielders, Pitchers,
and Catchers. Players may register for one or two positions.
It is strongly recommended that players make contact with college coaches before
attending the showcase to let them know of their interest in their school.
College coaches who have registered to attend will be listed online, and a list
will be sent to all the players.
Pitchers must arrange to have their own catchers.
No spikes or cleats / Turf shoes or sneakers only (This is an indoor facility).
A showcase number will be provided to each participant.
Saturday, December 11: Individual
Skills Showcase
There will be morning sessions for Infielders, Outfielders, Pitchers,
and Catchers. Once registered, participants will be provided with a
template for information to be provided for their player profile. Player
Profiles will be available for all attending College Coaches.
Check-in will begin at 8:00AM.

Our
14&U and 16&U
divisions have generated so
much demand the past few years that we have added a second tournament for each
division. The "second" 14&U tournament will be the weekend of January 3-4,
2009 and the "second" 16&U tournament will be the weekend of January 10-11,
2009. These will be "secondary" tournaments that will take place IF and
AFTER the respective "primary" tournament dates in February fill up. Team may
register and play in both the January & February tournaments.

Winter Play Days:
Again this year, we will be offering three Round Robin Play
Days.
Format will include three (3) Round Robin games, 1hr and 20 minutes each.
Teams will have use of the Technical Training area or batting cages, if
available, for warm up and practice.
ONLY the first SIX teams that are paid in full can be accepted. There is a
possibility that we may be able to add two more teams.
Registrations received with FULL payment will be handled on a First Come, First
Served basis.
As a result, it is suggested that registration forms be faxed (518
743-1247) to the Dome. You can include or call us with your CC information.

Don't be left out -
Our indoor events have been so well received that there were a
number of teams that were locked out last year.
In addition to the teams that we have hosted from NY, MA, CT, RI, LI, and NJ in
the past couple of years, I have already received inquiries from teams from PA, western NY and Montreal for 2008.
Format will include three (3) Pool Play games (1hr and 20 min time
limit), with all teams advancing to the seeded Single Elimination Rounds.
Teams will have use of the Technical Training area or batting cages, if
available, for warm up and practice.

Served basis.

We are going to be hosting a number of tournaments next
summer. Additional information about the tournaments will be posted
shortly. As we look to set our schedule for next summer, it would be
appreciated if you would let us know what dates that you might be looking to
fill in your teams schedule for next summer.
We are in the middle of a tremendous family vacation destination location for players and their
families, with the
Six
Flags Great Escape Splash Water Kingdom,
Lake George,
and the Adirondack Park
five to ten minutes to the north, and
Saratoga Springs and the
Saratoga
Thoroughbred Track
15 minutes to the south.
