Please make note that some Academy groups may be in
training as much as one week before the official start of the session.
We want them to have a training day before their
first scheduled game.
Adirondack Sports Complex
Soccer Academy
Mission Statement:
The mission of our program is to provide players with a fun, challenging
environment in which they can learn and practice the individual skills that
they will need for continued development as a player.
Philosophy:
Individual skills are the foundation of any players’ development and these
skills are the main focus of our Academy. Tactical training is also important,
but players must master the basic skills of passing, receiving, ball handling,
and striking the ball before these tactics can be introduced effectively. Though
many of our Academy players will participate in the house leagues, the Academy’s
focus for game play is performance rather than outcome related.
The Soccer Academy is not a club and is not designed as a team training
environment.
Soccer Academy:
The focus is on individual player development for all ages and skill abilities.
One (1) day of training and one (1) day of league play.
* Players may choose the training/skills option only but in order to play in the
league,
players must participate in
training/skills.
U10, U12, U14, High School Players:
Uniforms are required to be purchased for the Academy team.
The cost of the uniform is $20/player.
This includes:
Shirt
Shorts
Socks
U8 Players:
Provided with a Dome t-shirt.
Uniforms can be purchased on-line or at the Dome office.
Uniforms will be distributed by the Academy coach during the first training day.
Instruction is provided by
our Academy Instructors.

All participants will need to have an ADKSC
Photo ID/Membership card.
Photo ID/Membership cards
will be good for 12 months.
The
Photo ID/Membership cards
will serve as a player's pass.
